Since 1947, Miss Oregon has been part of the fabric of Seaside and the lives of young women across our state. The 1947 Club honors that legacy and celebrates JoAnne Amorde Berg, the first Miss Oregon, whose trailblazing year began a tradition that continues nearly eight decades later.

The 1947 Club was created for those who believe this tradition matters and want to help ensure it continues for future generations.
